For many years the American Geriatrics Society has produced a small,
pocket-sized text of information on geriatric medicine. What is new
this year is that the AGS is making the text available online for
free. Each "chapter" is brief and contains information in outline form.
Many chapters have little application to anesthesia, but many do and they
can be located easily. The text is a nice counterpart to the geriatric
anesthesia syllabus and is highly recommended as a quick and dirty
resource for information on aging.
